Empirical evaluation of software lifecycle management tools
Theme: Plaftorm economy
ESEAM
Project code: ESEAM
Schedule: 01/2021 - 12/2024
Status: Active
GOAL
Empirically evaluation of the lifecycle management software standard known as Open Services for Lifecycle Collaboration (OSLC)*
The evaluation demo is a fleet controller in a open air warehouse concept at TAU test site
The OSLC will be used when implementing the parts of this demo concept
Evaluation data is collected during and after the development work
Implementation participants from the TAU research group and volunteer students.
RESULTS
Knowledge on how the OSLC can be used in mobile machine automation development
Practical pros and cons for this industry.
Protocols/practices for testing different kinds of automation software as a side product
Provides a reference case on typical lifecycle management and systems engineering practices.
*The OSLC is an interoperability standard for connecting different system lifecycle management software solutions, such as JIRA, rational DOORS, Polarion, Perforce, and such.
ESEAMM project is a doctoral thesis work in Doctoral School of Industry Innovations (DSII) at Tampere University.
