EZE -Easy zonal hydraulics

FIMA is jointly participating in a new research project with several Finnish companies. The backround of the project is last year completed EL-Zone.

The target is to study and develope knowledge on zonal hydraulics in the following focus areas:

  • System architecture: to apply new easy electro-hydraulic system architectures and dimensioning of high-energy efficiency and high performance to increase the power (capacity, economy and ecology) of the mobile machine application
  • Ease of installation and commissioning
  • Component selection routines/tools based on efficiency maps
  • Operating requirements, benefits and restrictions
  • System diagnostics, condition monitoring and forecasting pending failures (incl. IoT and digital twins)
  • Knowledge base for compiling safety standards for EHA/DDH systems/units
